KEDA, former Capuchin monastery, Stans

The former Capuchin monastery in Stans, a listed building, becomes a centre for the promotion and development of local Alpine cuisine (KEDA).

Thanks to an artistically designed installation with excellent acoustic properties — which stands out clearly from the existing structure and can be removed from the space — the acoustics of the historic choir room allow for a wide range of uses. This delicate installation, conceived as an abstract chandelier and a church stained-glass window, was developed in close collaboration with the artist, the acoustician and the architect.
