Auditorium La Scène, Millennium, Crissier
La Scène, a 500-seat auditorium in the Millennium Crissier complex, is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and video technology. Kahle Acoustics has been tasked with improving the venue's acoustics so that it can host classical music concerts. The goal — both on stage for the musicians and in the audience for the public — is achieved through solutions that combine the optimization of natural acoustics with an electroacoustic system.

Gebruik The 500-seat auditorium has a 120 m² stage, a Meyer Sound System and a Dolby Atmos certification and it hosts all kind of congress-oriented events along with performances.

Professor Kahle and his viola are testing the response of the curved acoustic reflectors suspended above the stage to assess how sound is reflected and propagated on stage and throughout the auditorium. These tests help determine the optimal heights and angles of inclination for all the reflectors installed on stage. Foto © Kahle Acoustics
The tilt angles of the suspended reflectors are adjusted following testing, using a suspension system consisting of a rope on each side of the panel, suspended from a single point on the existing truss structures, which facilitates installation and removal. Foto © Kahle Acoustics
